I Have A Dream

I Dream of an India, my India
Sans cast, creed and religion,
I dream of an India, my India
Sans Majorities and Minorities
But only Indians, my dear Indians
A community that stands united
For India with a vision Global
Every Indian proud to say aloud
I am an Indian, yes I am an Indian
Neither Am I a Hindu, a Muslim
Neither Am I a Christian nor
Any of those hundreds of Ethnicities
I dream of an India where
Every Indian is equal and proud
To hold the Indian Flag closest to heart
And declare aloud I am an Indian
And I am proud to be so and sing
Sare Jaham se Acha Hidustan hamara hamara….
